Weekly Study Guides and Activities

Every Monday, asynchronous students will receive a comprehensive study guide and a set of activities for the week from their dedicated tutor.

These guides are meticulously crafted to align with the curriculum and ensure that students are on track with their learning objectives.

The activities are designed to be engaging and thought-provoking, encouraging students to explore the subject matter deeply and independently.

Personalized Support and Interaction

Students can reach out to their tutors via email with the assurance of receiving a response within 24 hours.

This prompt communication ensures that students’ questions and concerns are addressed swiftly, keeping their learning journey uninterrupted. We also provide an opportunity for real-time interaction.

Each week, students have access to a one-hour Zoom session per subject.

It’s a platform for personalized attention and academic support, tailored to the needs of each student.

Consistent Assessment Methods

When it comes to assessments, asynchronous students are not left behind.

They take their exams on the same digital platform as synchronous students.

This consistency in the assessment method ensures fairness and standardization in evaluating the students’ understanding and mastery of the subjects.

It also allows asynchronous students to feel an integral part of the broader school community, sharing the same standards and expectations as their peers in the synchronous program.

  • "My Name is Francisco Velásquez and it is an honor for me to be part of Ideal School. I started learning English in school but my passion for it began when I travelled to USA for a study abroad program at Nacel International School in St. Paul, Minnesota. I continued in the same state my undergraduate studies at The University of St. Thomas. There I learned not only English but also French which also became my passion. Another important experience I had with languages is my Master degree in Translation and Interpreting which I did in Sydney, Australia at the University of New South Wales. There I learned not only about the language but also about the culture of the place. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I had. Sharing my knowledge with other people does bring satisfaction to me, I really enjoy teaching and I am glad to be part of The Ideal School team because it is a great opportunity to do what I love."
